Round 11: RB Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s not often you find a team’s lead back this late in the draft, so we jump at the chance to select rookie running back Ronald Jones, of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones won’t be handed the Bucs’ starting job, but he was drafted in the second round to be Tampa Bay’s lead runner after the team parted ways with Doug Martin.

Tampa Bay still has their RB-trio of Peyton Barber, Jacquizz Rodgers and Charles Simms, but Jones will be given every opportunity to begin the year as the team’s top back, and that’s easily worth a late-round pick.

Don’t expect Jones — who scored 20 combined touchdowns last year at USC — to be available this late once draft season is in full swing.
