The only thing keeping the Baltimore Ravens falling further in our NFL power rankings is the fact their defense is still pretty good. Aging, but good.

Yes, Baltimore spent the offseason trying to upgrade the offense, particularly at wide receiver. Bringing aboard former Oakland Raiders wideout Michael Crabtree and former Cardinals receiver John Brown may help. But Crabtree is coming off a less-than-stellar 2017 campaign, and Brown was hurt for six games last season.

Sorry, Baltimore still needs help for quarterback Joe Flacco.

It’s time for general manager Ozzie Newsome to start thinking about a top-to-bottom rebuild. With an older defense and plenty of offensive question marks, 2018 is shaping up to be a year in which the Ravens are competitive but not exactly good.
