LSU. Arden Key. 7. player. 48. . EDGE
Defense should be the main focus for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason, and no point surfaces to the top more than the lack of a pass rush.
The Bucs finished dead last in sacks in 2017, and the lack of an explosive pass-rusher is something the organization should address as quickly as possible. Tampa Bay can worry about its other defensive needs later, as elite pass-rushers are rare.
LSU’s Arden Key is that rare breed of specimen — powerful, twitchy and explosive. There have been questions surrounding his durability and commitment, but 2017 certainly suggested he’s capable of bringing the pressure on a regular basis.
A strong pass rush would also go a long way in helping a beleaguered secondary, as defensive backs are only as good as their pass rush.
Key would help that immensely.
