The Chicago Bears invested heavily in their quarterback of the future, Mitchell Trubisky, and now they need to find him weapons.

It’s looking as if hopeful No. 1 wide receiver Kevin White isn’t going to be a long-term solution, and one can only think how things would have gone if the team had been able to hold onto now-Philadelphia Eagles wideout Alshon Jeffery.

So, as the need goes, the Bears go with a top-ranked receiving prospect in Southern Methodist’s Courtland Sutton.

Sutton, all of 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, is the kind of physical mismatch nightmare any quarterback wishes he had as a target. The receiver is more than capable of beating press coverage and has enough elusiveness to get open in space.

There are some question marks regarding Sutton’s hands, but his sheer size makes this pick impossible to pass up.
