Tight End Garrett Celek

Tight end Garrett Celek is developing into a nice over-the-middle target for San Francisco’s quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo.

While Celek had only two receptions on the game, both were substantial. The first, a 61-yard catch-and-run grab, came on a key third down when the 49ers and Texans were tied at 16:

Oh, and Celek’s other catch was a touchdown on this very same drive.

Celek had been something of a forgotten commodity early this season, so it’s nice to see the 49ers utilizing his skill set.
