The San Francisco 49ers come off their bye and host their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. Niner Noise breaks down five matchups to watch during the contest.

Week 12 presents about as good a chance as any for the 1-9 San Francisco 49ers to knock off their division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, in quite some time.

The Niners haven’t beaten the Seahawks since 2013, but head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad is fresh of its bye week and coming off a 31-21 victory over the New York Giants nearly two weeks ago.

We already explored some of the reasons why San Francisco could be in line for an upset. The added week should allow for a number of key players to return from injury, which evens the odds a bit.

Still, it’s going to be a tough challenge for Shanahan and Co. to see if the team’s momentum can carry through the bye and into this Week 12 NFC West showdown.

So let’s look at those matchups and see which ones we’ll want to watch this Sunday.
