The San Francisco 49ers have had a rough 2017, but there are number of solid players at each position on the roster. Niner Noise identifies the best at each spot after 10 games so far this season.

Ten games into the 2017 season, the San Francisco 49ers sit at 1-9 and are preparing for a Week 12 matchup at home against the Seattle Seahawks.

While frustrating, the Niners’ start to the year hasn’t shown a lot of the cracks and discontent so often associated with teams going through rough times. Case in point, the 2-8 New York Giants have already dealt with their fair share of locker-room speculation and in-house disagreement.

In this slideshow, we’ll take a position-by-position look at the top performers at each position through 10 weeks of the season. In many cases, the best positional players will be the cornerstone pieces moving forward.

But not always. There are a few names you probably wouldn’t have guessed to see when the season began.

And let’s get this started with a group so often overlooked, special teams.
