San Francisco 49ers: Week 11 stock report after win over Giants
By Peter Panacy
Linebacker Reuben Foster
When healthy, rookie linebacker Reuben Foster is the 49ers’ best defensive playmaker.
He stayed healthy in Week 10, leading his defense with 10 tackles — one of which was for a loss — and a quarterback hit.
All this accounted for a nice game review from Pro Football Focus, which rewarded the Alabama product with a 89.8 game grade:
"Foster was all over the field against the Giants, recording 4 stops, only 2 receptions allowed with a long of seven yards given up, and even recorded a quarterback hit. In the past two weeks, Foster has shown why the 49ers wanted to trade back into the first round to get a linebacker who could be a difference maker on this defense."

There’s little doubt how much a difference maker Foster is when on the field.
And as long as San Francisco can keep him healthy, Foster’s impact should be one that vastly helps restore the team’s defense to a level of respectability.
