Niner Noise breaks down the San Francisco 49ers’ Week 10 efforts at home against the New York Giants, dishing out positional grades and analysis from the contest.

The San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants had a combined-one win before squaring off at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara in Week 10.

That means both teams were bad. So if you watched this one, there’s something wrong with you.

OK, enough of that. The Niners pulled off their first win of 2017 after dropping New York 31-21 on Sunday. Simply put, San Francisco looked much more hungry than New York did, and it showed on both sides of the field.

Granted, there were some sloppiness on both sides of the ball for both teams. Yet head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad certainly flashed the desire to come away with a victory.

As far as Giants head coach Ben McAdoo, well, it’s hard to say the same.

Nevertheless, the 49ers finally land their first victory of the season and can feel pretty good about it despite going against a lackluster Giants squad. So with all that as the backdrop, let’s take a look at offensive and defensive grades for San Francisco, which now sits at 1-9.
