Few probably would have predicted the Eagles’ 51-23 blowout over the Broncos who, despite their quarterbacking issues, still boast one of the better defenses in the league.

But that’s exactly what happened.

The Eagles easily stay atop our NFL power rankings this week, especially after quarterback Carson Wentz tossed four touchdowns en route to a passer rating of 118.7. And newly acquired running back Jay Ajayi made an impact too, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown, averaging 9.6 yards per carry in the process.

Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery had two touchdowns against what we consider an elite secondary, and the Eagles’ own defense all but kept Denver’s offense at bay until garbage time in the fourth quarter.
