Start-em: Jordan Reed (WAS) vs Dallas

Jordan Reed’s name appeared earlier on the list as a reason to use Kirk Cousins this week. He is finally healthy and is producing like the top tight end Washington expected him to be. Fantasy football owners who were patient enough to wait for him to be 100 percent are going to be rewarded this week and the rest of this season.

The Washington offense is under rated and full of value this week. Reed has a chance to be a top three tight end to finish out 2017 and he is not being valued as such by fantasy football players. Last week’s two touchdown performance was no fluke. That is the type of game he is capable of having on a regular basis when healthy.

I’ve spoken about Jordan Reed’s injury plagued past before on this list, but it has been two straight weeks without incident and this looks like the Reed to expect moving forward. Dallas has no answer for a player with Reed’s combination of elite size, speed, and hands.

More from Niner Noise

Reed has always been a threat in the red zone when, but he is establishing himself as the top receiver on the team regardless of Washington’s position on the field. It is not outrageous to think that Reed could see double-digit targets in Week 8.

That equals great numbers for fantasy football owners when a player with Reed’s talent level gets consistent targets. There are one two other tight ends I would want before him in fantasy football the rest of this season; Rob Gronkowski and Zach Ertz. Any player who is mentioned with those two has a spot on my fantasy football team any day.

Other options: Zach Ertz (PHI) vs San Francisco and Jason Witten (DAL) @ Washington.
