Sit-em: Coby Fleener (NO) vs. Chicago

Coby Fleener is not an important part of the New Orleans offense. There was big hype surrounding his potential in this high-powered offense two years ago, but that hype has turned into nothing.

Drew Brees seems to trow the ball 50 times every game and close to none of them go towards Fleener. We entered this season as fantasy football player thinking maybe this year would be the year they figured it out together, but nothing has developed.

Without last season’s top receiver Brandin Cooks, Fleener entered this season with big buzz in the fantasy world again. And once again nothing. He has done nothing in a Saints uniform to warrant him starting on any fantasy football team and yet some people are still holding out hope.

His matchup against the Chicago Bears would be a decent one for most tight ends,  but not Fleener. Receiver Tedd Ginn Jr. has made a seemless transition into the Saints offense and yet Fleener has yet to make an impact anywhere close to what he did in Indianapolis a few seasons ago. It is almost time to give up and drop Fleener in all leagues.

Other options: Jimmy Graham (SEA) vs Houston and Kyle Rudolph (MIN) @ Cleveland.
