Needless to say, there aren’t going to be too many positives from the San Francisco 49ers’ 40-10 loss at the hands of the visiting Dallas Cowboys in Week 7.

Overall, Dallas put up 501 yards against a 49ers defense that entered the contest riddled with injuries, suffering more as the game wore on. And while rookie linebacker Reuben Foster made his return from a Week 1 ankle injury, even he couldn’t stay healthy and suffered two separate injuries late in the contest.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan later noted, via Rob Lowder of Niners Wire, there simply weren’t any positives to take away from the game.

It’s going to hurt, but let’s break down all that was good, bad and ugly from San Francisco’s seventh loss in seven games this season.

A whole lot of bad and ugly, for sure.
