Significant injuries

While this isn’t injury related, there has been a key shift on the 49ers roster. On Oct. 13, linebacker NaVorro Bowman was released from the team. Big news, considering Bowman had spent the past seven-plus seasons on the team.

Linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong has played well over the past couple games, and of course, there’s rookie linebacker Reuben Foster lurking in the shadows. And it looks like Foster is close to returning from his ankle injury:

Here’s the rest of the injury report for San Francisco, via Nick Wagoner of ESPN:

"49ers Friday injury report: Out — FB Kyle Juszczyk (back). Questionable — S Adrian Colbert (hamstring), LB Reuben Foster (ankle), S Eric Reid (knee), LB Dekoda Watson (groin), CB Ahkello Witherspoon (concussion)."
