. Kansas City Chiefs. 1. team. 124. . 4-0

The Chiefs are now sitting pretty at No. 1 in our NFL power rankings this week and are officially the last undefeated team a quarter of the way through the season.

And can we just stop the year right now and crown rookie running back Kareem Hunt the league’s MVP already?

Hunt rushed for 101 yards on 21 carries and added another 20 through the air.

But tight end Travis Kelce was the primary offensive weapon for Kansas City, netting 111 yards and a touchdown. That was quarterback Alex Smith’s lone touchdown, although Smith certainly impacted the game with more than just his passing.

Smith’s poise in the fourth quarter was something to watch, and he’s a key reason why the Chiefs are 4-0.

Defensively, Kansas City held Washington to a 4-of-11 mark on third downs — another key reason for the prime-time win.

Now, a real test for the Chiefs. They get to travel to Houston to take on the Texans in Week 5 on Sunday Night Football.
