The San Francisco 49ers fell in overtime to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4, 18-15, dropping the Niners’ 2017 record to 0-4. Let’s take a look at which players saw their stock rise or fall.

On the positive side of things, the San Francisco 49ers have been in a serious position to win three of their first four games of 2017.

But the Niners are still seeking their first win of the season.

This, of course, comes after falling to the Arizona Cardinals 18-15 in overtime — a game in which head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad never trailed until wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald hauled in the game-winning touchdown in the bonus frame.

Week 4 also marked the third week in which Shanahan’s offense failed to score a touchdown. That’s a pressing concern, especially considering how effective the head coach’s offense has been in previous stops.

It’s likely a matter of personnel, although the 49ers didn’t help themselves Sunday, committing a slew of self-inflicted mistakes.

Since this is all still part of the rebuilding process, we have to treat the season as a crucial evaluation period. As such, which players saw their stock either rise or fall during this NFC West bout?

Let’s take a look at one player who isn’t living up to the expectation level many hoped for entering this season, cornerback Rashard Robinson.
