49ers NFL Draft Prospect Watch: Making the Case for RB Kareem Hunt
By Peter Panacy
Kareem Hunt’s Measurements & NFL Scouting Combine Results
Kareem Hunt measures in at 5-foot-10 and 216 pounds, which gives him a compact frame capable of withstanding the rigors of life at the NFL level.
And he could stand to add a few more pounds to his frame as well.

Hunt also has a 31 3/8-inch wingspan with 9 5/8-inch hands. He managed 18 reps on the bench press at the combine and had a leap of 36.5 inches.
His 4.62 40-yard-dash time wasn’t particularly great, and he had hoped the number would be below 4.5.
“I feel it will be my athleticism (that will surprise coaches) I feel I’m a guy who is very explosive,” Hunt said prior to his workout. “I run faster than people think, and I believe I’m going to jump and test well. That’s what I do. I think I fit in right with the best of them, at the top. And I’m going to keep competing. That’s what I do, I love to compete. I’m going to show up and be there every day.”
While not meeting his goal might be a bit disappointing, it could play into the 49ers hands and wind up forcing Hunt down some big boards on draft day.
