2016 NFL Draft: Mocking the Top 10 Picks of Tonight’s Draft
2. Carson Wentz, Quarterback, North Dakota State
The bottom line here is the Philadelphia Eagles have locked up their future franchise passer. With incumbent starting quarterback Sam Bradford feeling betrayed though, do they have a stop-gap option for the short term?
North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz is definitely the better of the top-two quarterbacks in my opinion. Just look at what he accomplished on the Division 1 level. He’s a champion, a winner. He jumps off the tape when I watch film.
Philadelphia will draft the best player since Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck came out in 2012 and, for me, Wentz will be the best quarterback out of this class in five years.
