3. Ronnie Stanley, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

After hearing Mike Mayock do his annual mock draft on NFL Network last night, as well as reports from the San Diego Chargers facility, Notre Dame tackle Ronnie Stanley will likely be the Chargers selection at No. 3 overall.

Stanley will immediately come in and start on their offensive line, whether it be at left or right tackle, or even guard in the short term. He gives the Chargers flexibility in what they can do on their offensive line this season and solidifies one of the four most important positions on a football team — those being quarterback, pass-rusher, corner and offensive tackle.
