1. Jared Goff, Quarterback, California

Cal’s Jared Goff is a quarterback believed to be able to start day one. I’ve heard many experts, including Mike Mayock of NFL Network, compare him to Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. If Goff plays like Ryan did his rookie season, the Los Angeles Rams will have finally found their franchise quarterback.

They’re certainly trying to end their playoff drought, and they also seem to be a quarterback away from doing so. The Rams have a grade-A defense and a tailback in Todd Gurley, who can certainly be great friends for Goff as he looks to lead them to the playoffs for the first time since the 2004 season.
