Winner No. 2: 49ers offensive line

The offensive line was creating massive holes for Jordan Mason to run through all night. The O-line has had a lot of question marks surrounding it the last two seasons, and the common narrative is that the line consisted of Trent Williams at left tackle, the best offensive lineman in the game, and then four below-average lineman.

That characterization definitely seems unfair after Week 1.

Rookie Dominick Puni looked good at right guard, and the rest of the O-line seemingly held up well. Aaron Banks fought through an injury to play and was relieved late in the game by Spencer Burford and Williams went into the locker room to get an IV during the game, but other than that, the O-line seems pretty healthy, which is a good sign going forward.

Perhaps Puni was that one missing piece to make San Francisco solid on both sides of the O-line.
