It's not training camp. But the Niners' offseason programs will be here before you know it.

The 49ers had their offseason workout programs officially announced by the NFL this week.

On Friday, the NFL announced offseason workout schedules for all 32 teams.

As part of the current collective bargaining agreement, offseason workouts are broken down into three phases, all of which are voluntary (with the exception of one mandatory minicamp) over the course of nine weeks.

Here's the specific breakdown of those phases:

1. Phase 1

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation only.

2. Phase 2

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual or group instruction and drills, as well as "perfect play drills," and drills and plays with offensive players lining up across from offensive players and defensive players lining up across from defensive players, conducted at a walk-through pace. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.

3. Phase 3

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or "OTAs". No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.

It's important to note that these workouts do not permit live contact and are conducted without pads, as per the terms of the current CBA.
