How to watch 49ers vs. Vikings in NFL Week 2 with and without cable
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers visit the Vikings in Week 2 after downing the Jets on Monday night, and here's how fans can tune in live to the broadcast.
While the San Francisco 49ers' biggest stunner from Week 1 was watching backup running back Jordan Mason gash the New York Jets for 147 rush yards in the Niners' 32-19 Monday Night Football victory, an equally compelling stunner was Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold carving up the New York Giants in a quality performance of his own.
Yes, the Niners' former No. 2 signal-caller enjoyed Week 1, too, poised to be the Norseman's starter for the time being with rookie J.J. McCarthy out for the year with a knee injury.
The possibility of San Francisco facing its old quarterback has been there all season, and it appears as if that'll be the reality in Week 2 when the 49ers travel to US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
While this game won't quite have the attention Week 1 possessed, it'll be an excellent chance for the 49ers to get out to a 2-0 start on the young season.
