4 veterans who won't be on 49ers roster come Week 1

It's a good problem to have, but the 49ers roster is so stacked, they'll have to get rid of some quality talent ahead of Week 1.

No. 2: 49ers offensive lineman Jaylon Moore

The Niners are going to have a relatively inexperienced offensive line aside from All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, although from left guard to right guard (Aaron Banks, Jake Brendel and Spencer Burford), there's at least one year's worth of starting for each player.

Right tackle is different, though, with Colton McKivitz likely getting the nod after now-Denver Broncos lineman Mike McGlinchey left via NFL free agency.

McKivitz, at least over the last couple of years, beat out fellow lineman Jaylon Moore for placement on the depth chart. And with San Francisco onboarding two other veteran linemen, Matt Pryor and Jon Feliciano, there's likely going to be little room for Moore to hang around the 53-man roster.

What puts an emphasis point on Moore not making the cut is he was working with the third-string unit during organized team activities.

Not a good sign for the fifth-round draft pick from 2021.
