Looking to avoid a three-game losing streak, the 49ers host the Bengals in Week 8 from Levi's Stadium.

Both the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals are looking at their Week 8 contest not necessarily as a must-win game but certainly as a "it's in your best interest not to lose this bout" kind of game.

The Niners are reeling, coming off back-to-back road losses against the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings, respectively, which spoiled their previously undefeated record to the tune of 5-2.

Cincy, meanwhile, is 3-3 and coming off a bye week. After an awfully ugly start to his season, quarterback Joe Burrow and Co. hope they can get right against a San Francisco squad that's both on the proverbial ropes and coming off a short week after having played last Monday night.
