No. 4: OL Jesse Sapolu, Round 11, 289th pick overall (1983)

After being selected from the University of Hawaii, this Samoan sensation played his entire career in San Francisco. Jesse Sapolu is only one of six former 49ers players to win four Super Bowl rings.

He played 182 games for San Francisco and started in 154 of those. He earned Pro-Bowl honors in both 1993 and 1994. What was even more imporessive is the fact Sapolu had a rare heart condition that threatened his life before and during his pro career.

The late-round draft pick also saw some time as a guard, proving his value and versatility on the offensive line.

Sapolu retired in 1997 and is still at the center of his community making a difference as one of the greats in 49ers' history.
