Two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks go head-to-head in this Week 13 Sunday Night Football match. Josh Allen and Brock Purdy are the league's future; having them show off on the same night will be entertaining.

Despite playing in the AFC, winning against the Buffalo Bills is important. As noted, the 49ers lost to a few AFC teams last season. Though it didn’t impact their result, each week is important, every win means something.

The last time these teams met was back in 2020 during the pandemic. Former 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens was behind centre during the 34-24 loss at Levi’s Stadium. Buffalo went on a 17-0 run in the second quarter, essentially putting the game to rest before the half.

Since 2020, much has changed for both teams including the Bills trading highlight-reel wide receiver Stefon Diggs to Houston.

Diggs was Allens favourite target, with him not in the picture, this weakens Buffalo's ariell attack. Sure, they have Curtis Samuel but he’s yet to post a 1,000 yard season. Maybe running back Frank Gore Jr could save them, but this has “trap game” written all over it.
