49ers need No. 1: Offensive line

One could argue the Niners could get by without seriously addressing the previous four needs.

They can't afford to neglect the offensive line, though.

Outside of All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, and arguably left guard Aaron Banks, the entire O-line could stand for both upgrades and depth.

Center Jake Brendel was flagged for 29 quarterback pressures allowed, while right tackle Colton McKivitz was slapped with nine sacks surrendered, according to Pro Football Focus. San Francisco also had a rotation at right guard between Spencer Burford and Jon Feliciano, the latter hitting free agency this offseason.

If there's good news, this year's draft has plenty of O-line options, and it would be wise for the 49ers to spend at least a few of those picks on linemen who could not only start right away but could potentially take over for Williams when the aging veteran elects to call it a career in the not-too-distant future.
