Predicting 49ers' running back depth chart (there's 1 star and a lot of questions)
Behind Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers have a number of question marks at running back that'll have to be answered this season.

4. Jordan Mason
After two seasons with the Niners, the product of Georgia Tech has suited up for all 34 regular-season games but one. Entering his third year as a pro, Jordan Mason is only 25 years old.
Possibly his best performance last year for San Francisco was against the Dallas Cowboys. In that game, had season highs with 10 carries and 69 yards.
Mason also took the football into the end zone on a 26-yard score in the fourth quarter. He was the team's leading rusher that day in the 42-10 shellacking of an NFC rival.
He tallied three rushing touchdowns during his 40 carries for 206 rushing yards. Though he is already familiar with the system under Shanahan, Guerendo could beat out Mason if the 49ers opt to go with recency bias.
