The 49ers' brass will face plenty of decisions leading up to final roster cuts. The first preseason game might have provided some insight into how those moves might shake out.

49ers' Defensive Line

EDGE Nick Bosa

EDGE Leonard Floyd

DT Javon Hargrave

DT Maliek Collins

DL Yetur Gross-Matos

DT Jordan Elliott

EDGE Robert Beal Jr

DT Kevin Givens

DT Evan Anderson

DL Alex Barrett

This isn't a difficult group to predict for the top six or so, as everyone from Nick Bosa down to Jordan Elliott feels pretty well locked in for this season.

After them, it gets interesting, although the injury to defensive tackle Kalia Davis after a good showing on Saturday night against the Titans does provide some clarity here.

Davis didn't make the cut on this projection prior to training camp, but signs were starting to point toward him making the roster; but now he'll miss half, if not all, of the season with a knee injury.

The depth at defense tackle is solid, however, with Kevin Givens and UFDA rookie Evan Anderson stepping in. The question will be EDGE depth beyond Bosa and offseason acquisition Leonard Floyd.

After Saturday's game, Alex Barrett looks to have a good shot at cracking the roster alongside second-year man Robert Beal Jr.
