It's an NFC clash tonight on Thursday Night Football between two teams jockeying for top picks in next year's NFL Draft.

For the most part, the NFL has tried to do a good job of making each one of its primetime games watchable. At least by generating the kind of interest in the game that should be intriguing to fans across the country.

It's tougher on Thursday Night Football, of course. But, with flexing now in place and teams being able to play Thursday nights twice instead of once, the first game of every week should be slightly more interesting than before.

Although Week 10 might be an exception.

Thursday Night Football this week features two teams that have a combined three wins between them, and the loser of the game might be in a better position for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Winning is losing, and vice versa, right? And it might be tough to tune into play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, who has struggled to keep up the enthusiasm this season, putting it lightly.

Thursday Night Football, Week 10: Bears to host Panthers

It's OK if you're not going to get excited about this one.

The 2-7 Chicago Bears will host the 1-7 Carolina Panthers on Thursday night from Soldier Field in Chicago.

Bears quarterback Justin Fields has massively underwhelmed this season, and a thumb injury has given way to backup signal-caller Tyson Bagen getting the start in Week 10.

At least fans may be treated to seeing the No. 1 overall pick from this year's draft, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young.

The two bottom-dwelling teams kick off on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 8:15 p.m. on Amazon Prime.
