Who is playing Monday Night Football in Week 4?
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers recently beat the Giants, but they may be Giants fans for Monday Night Football in Week 4.
The San Francisco 49ers wanted nothing more than to beat the New York Giants in Week 3, which they did by a score of 30-12 on Thursday Night Football from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
While the undefeated Niners will go from the bright lights of primetime football to a less provocative Week 4 game against the Arizona Cardinals, the G-Men will actually stay in prime time this upcoming weekend by playing on Monday Night Football from their home venue, MetLife Stadium.
And San Francisco might soon find itself rooting for New York, too, in this upcoming matchup for Monday night.
Which teams play Monday Night Football in Week 4?
The Giants are about to play their second primetime game of the season, while the 49ers just wrapped up their first and won't do another bright-lights game until Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
Meanwhile, the G-Men host one of the Niners' biggest rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, for Monday Night Football in Week 4.
At 2-1, the Hawks are currently the biggest threat to San Francisco in the NFC West, which means both fans and players of the red and gold will likely hope that New York can get to an even .500 mark after four games by sending Seattle home with a loss.

The Giants do have the luxury of being at home, and they also had a bit more time to rest and prepare after visiting the 49ers on Thursday night for Week 3.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks have to travel all the way across the country, albeit with one extra day to acclimate to the time change.
The G-Men and Hawks kick off on Monday, Oct. 2 at 8:15 p.m. ET
