On this episode of the Niner Noise Podcast, we look at the 49ers trying to sweep the season series against the Seahawks for the second year in a row.

The San Francisco 49ers would normally be at a massive risk of having a let-down "trap" kind of game in Week 14 after having dispatched the Philadelphia Eagles in dominating fashion the previous Sunday.

Thankfully, the Niners have an opponent that'll get the proverbial juices flowing just as much as any other, a home showdown against the 6-6 Seattle Seahawks.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan's squad already played the Hawks two weeks ago as the Thanksgiving finale of games on Thursday Night Football, and San Francisco decisively won that tilt, too.

So, as the 49ers' string of five games against "bird" teams continues, they'll look to sweep Seattle for the second year in a row.

And that's what we discuss on the latest episode of the Niner Noise Podcast.

Niner Noise Podcast: 49ers must be wary of desperate Seahawks

Podcast hosts Robert Morrison and Akshaj Dwivedula preview the game in context of how well the Niners have played as of late, including looking at the previous victory over the Seahawks two weeks ago.

However, in danger of losing not only four in a row but also sitting on the outside of the NFC playoff picture, it's safe to say head coach Pete Carroll's squad will be desperate to get a win.

And not just because it's against San Francisco.

On top of that, the Seahawks played on Thursday night for Week 13, so they'll have a "mini bye week" like the 49ers enjoyed prior to their road game against Philly.
