NFL weather for 49ers vs. Jets in Week 1 couldn't be more perfect

The 49ers and Jets will happily take perfect weather for their Monday Night Football season opener at Levi's Stadium.
One of the challenges the San Francisco 49ers face early in the season when they play home games at Levi's Stadium is the concern over notably hot temperatures, especially for the fans facing the sun on the eastern concourse.
For the most part, the Niners have been able to alleviate this by either playing their September games on the road, or as is the case for Week 1 in 2024, at night for a primetime showdown.
That's how San Francisco will open up this year's regular-season campaign with a home bout against the visiting New York Jets on Monday Night Football, slated to kick off on Monday, Sept. 9 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
Both fans and players have to be happy the NFL weather for kickoff is forecasted to be ideal.
49ers vs. Jets should have perfect NFL weather for Monday Night Football
Northern California isn't exactly known for inclement weather. And while some fans may prefer watching games in torrential downpours and snowstorms, those are going to be rare at Levi's Stadium (the last time it snowed in Silicon Valley was 1976). Usually, the heat will be the contending factor this time of year.
Fortunately, Week 1's Monday Night Football showdown removes that concern, and gametime weather will be lovely.

According to the latest forecast, the kickoff temperature will be 76 degrees, dropping slightly to 68 degrees by the fourth quarter.
There are clear skies, a mere one-percent chance of rain and northwesterly winds of nine miles per hour, gusts reaching up to 16 miles per hour.
It's hard to ask for football conditions better than those, meaning fans and tailgaters should have themselves a wonderful time at Levi's Stadium on Monday night.
