5 most exciting matchups 49ers could open with in Week 1

Ideal Week 1 matchup: 49ers vs. Cowboys
There was a time between the 1970s and 1990s when the 49ers and Dallas Cowboys were must-watch television.
And that long-standing rivalry was personal, often featuring the two best teams in all of football. Just ask anyone who watched those NFC Championship games in the early 1990s.
After going idle for a couple of decades, it's safe to say the Niners' rivalry with Dallas is back, San Francisco now getting the upper hand in back-to-back playoff-elimination games in 2022 and 2023. The 49ers also won their last regular-season matchup over the Cowboys, too, in commnding 42-10 fashion.
Again, the league is likely to give the Chiefs a cush home game to begin the regular season, but that opens the door for the Niners to potentially host Dallas in Week 1.
Perhaps it'd be an ideal way to close out the opening week of the season, possibly on Monday Night Football, right?
