49ers trade target No. 3: Ezra Cleveland, Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings, who helped continue the 49ers' misery amid their losing streak, have to think long and hard about whether or not the playoffs are realistic and if they should be buyers or sellers at the deadline.

Particularly in the wake of quarterback Kirk Cousins' season-ending Achilles tear.

Trading away assets might be smart, unless making it into the playoffs and getting eliminated on Wild Card weekend sounds like a goal.

One player who's popped up on Niner Noise's trade suggestions already is left guard Ezra Cleveland.

Cleveland, who was out with a foot issue when the Niners were in town, would likely have to bump over to right guard, but he'd be an immediate upgrade over San Francisco's current option there, Spencer Burford.

Considering how bad the 49ers offensive line has looked during the skid, any upgrade would be a welcomed one.
