Madden 24 ratings: Full list of 49ers player ratings

From their top-rated players in Trent Williams and Nick Bosa, all the way down to Taybor Pepper, Madden 24 has some provocative ratings for the 49ers this year.

San Francisco 49ers long-snapper Taybor Pepper has to be livid.

EA Sports recently revealed their player ratings for every player across the entire NFL for Madden 24, the next upcoming installment of the hit video game.

Pepper, meanwhile, is the seventh-worst player with an overall mark of just 27. At least he's not a 26, though, as that was Madden's lowest ranking for anybody, period.

Granted, EA Sports failed to include long-snappers as a position, so anyone who does those specific special teams duties is technically classified as a tight end in the game. Considering we're not likely to see Pepper running routes our blocking in jumbo packages anytime soon, perhaps the 27 rating is justified when it comes to being a tight end.

At any rate, the usual suspects for San Francisco rated out exceptionally high, including the 49ers' top-two players in left tackle Trent Williams and edge Nick Bosa, both of whom received 98 ratings for the year.

Why either was snubbed from the "elite" 99 club, though, is anyone's guess. Would someone please write a nasty email to EA Sports about those 99-club snubs?

Running back Christian McCaffrey, tight end George Kittle and linebacker Fred Warner all made Madden's top-10 lists in addition to both Williams and Bosa, so perhaps, it's not terribly bad the Niners are represented so well by the sports video game franchise.
