Kyle Juszczyk gets snubbed for Hall of Fame in theoretical prediction

Sorry, Kyle Juszczyk. It doesn't appear as if you'll be enshrined in Canton, at least according to CBS Sports.

CBS Sports just predicted whether a number of current players end up making the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Turns out, Kyle Juszczyk won't get the call.

There are probably a few current San Francisco 49ers players who'll end up getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame someday.

As far as the no-doubt inductees, All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams is a shoo-in. Same goes with the reigning Offensive Player of the Year, running back Christian McCaffrey. And probably linebacker Fred Warner and defensive end Nick Bosa, too.

How about fullback Kyle Juszczyk? Will he get into the hall?

According to a panel of CBS Sports NFL analysts, no. Altough we're kind of confused as to why Juszczyk was even brought into the discussion in the first place.

CBS Sports prediction questionably highlights Kyle Juszczyk as non-inductee into Hall of Fame

Led by Bryan DeArdo, a panel of CBS Sports analyst went through eight current NFL stars and predicted whether or not each of them could eventually don the gold jacket.

Most of the names made sense: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and others.

But the panel also included Juszczyk.

No slander against the Niners fullback here, although it's a bit odd to include him on this kind of list. Despite being the best at his position by a wide margin, fullbacks no longer command the kind of attention that makes them Hall of Fame-caliber talent.

Yet CBS Sports decided to analyze Juszczyk anyway. The panel pointed out the following:

"Juszczyk has the bona fides as an eight-time Pro Bowler and earned his first All-Pro in 2023. But no fullback has ever made the Hall of Fame without putting up some numbers, which is something Juszczyk doesn't have. "

Thanks for stating the obvious?

There probably aren't too many fans who, despite adoring Juszczyk and his importance to San Francisco's offense, feel as if he's heading to Canton after his career eventually comes to a close. Unfortunately, it's just a byproduct of the nature of his position in today's NFL.

So sorry, Juice. CBS Sports doesn't think you'll get in.
