Which jerseys are 49ers wearing today in Week 5 vs. Cardinals?

The 49ers are opting to don their alternate jerseys for Week 5's showdown against the Cardinals.
The San Francisco 49ers boast the best throwback uniforms in the NFL. And there could be an argument they should simply revert back to those memorable 1994 jerseys full time, although the classic red-and-gold combo is also hard to beat.
The Niners have yet to wear either of their two throwbacks, the red-top home version or all-white road ones.
But that'll change in Week 5's home showdown against the Arizona Cardinals.
In Friday's press conference with reporters, head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed his team would don their home throwbacks for Sunday's game.
And it's not just because of sentiment.
The predicted weather at Levi's Stadium for Week 5 suggests awfully hot conditions, initially predicted to be 88 degrees at kickoff with recent predictions saying the mercury could climb all the way to 95 degrees.
Either way, it's going to be a warm one, unusual for the Bay Area in October.
As shared by the San Jose Mercury News' Cam Inman, Shanahan petitioned the NFL to allow San Francisco to wear its all-white road throwbacks, given the heat. However, the request was denied on the grounds of the 49ers already having planned to wear their home uniforms for the game.
The Niners can, however, wear their home throwbacks, which will at least trade out the usual gold pants for white ones, adding a small relief against the forecasted heat.
"We have to make a conscious commitment before the year that we wear all whites until the middle of October and then go to normal." Shanahan said. "It’s not usually this hot. We’ll probably do that now, just in case."
San Francisco and Arizona kick off on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 4:05 p.m. ET from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
