George Kittle reveals who will attend Tight End University this year
By Peter Panacy
Tight End University is back for another year, and George Kittle told Good Morning Football who is going to be attending the 2023 course.
Few players in the NFL have done more for tight ends than the San Francisco 49ers' own, George Kittle.
From his self-coined "National Tight End Day" to an actual training camp-type of course for tight ends, called Tight End University, Kittle has gone the extra mile and then some to help tight ends around the league become better and more important to NFL offenses everywhere.
It also doesn't look like TEU is going away anytime soon, and Kittle told the folks over at Good Morning Football that the class would be returning for a third year:
Along with retired tight end Greg Olsen and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, year three of TEU will take place in Nashville, Tennnessee, at Vanderbilt University from June 20 through 22.
"I think we've got 75 guys signed up this year," Kittle told the GMFB crew. "Forty girlfriends and wives are coming, too, so that's pretty awesome that we have this huge umbrella that we can support everybody at Tight End U."
Kittle also said that multiple quarterbacks are going to be in attendance, such as the Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen and the Niners' Trey Lance and Sam Darnold. Additionally, a couple of former San Francisco signal-callers, C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens, are going to be there as well.

However, the class is also going to feature some well-known tight ends who are coming out of retirement to help those in attendance.
According to Kittle, Jordan Reed and Rob Gronkowski will also be attending to help teach.
"We've got a plethora of things we're going to cover," Kittle added. "And we've got a great group of teachers to add to that."
Without question, those tight ends are probably stoked to be partaking in another year of TEU, and they owe some serious thanks to Kittle, Kelce and Olsen for continuing this new tradition.
