Full Sunday Night Football schedule for the 2024 NFL season
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers are one of a handful of teams that'll make multiple appearances in prime time on Sunday Night Football.
While there are plenty of primetime slots available for marquee matchups across any NFL season, one could make the argument that NBC's Sunday Night Football is the best of the best.
With all due respect to Thursday and Monday night games, Sunday night just hits differently. The matchups tend to be top-tier, and more often than not, there are usually significant implications from each game played.
And who doesn't like country superstar Carrie Underwood singing that catchy tune just before kickoff?
San Francisco 49ers fans will be graced with their team playing two Sunday Night Football games this season, part of the maximum six primetime bouts the Niners will have in 2024.
But, what about the remaining Sunday night tilts?
If you're looking to plan your calendars for Sunday and want to know who'll be playing to wrap up the day's slate of games, look no further. We've got you covered.

A year ago, San Francisco hosted Dallas in a primetime showdown that saw the 49ers wallop the Cowboys 42-10 in front of a national audience, further adding to a rivalry that dates back to the 1970s.
The Niners will look to do more of the same against another conference contender, but the tougher game could be later in the season when San Francisco visits quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills in Buffalo where cold weather could be a factor for quarterback Brock Purdy and Co.
Depending on how those two teams are faring throughout the season, it's possible some look at that as a potential Super Bowl preview.
Yet those discussions are still a long way away, but Sunday Night Football will be here before fans even know it.
