4 free-agent cornerbacks 49ers need to consider for their roster
It's looking like the Niners may need yet another cornerback.

49ers free-agent target No. 2: Anthony Brown
In each of the last two seasons, veteran cornerback Anthony Brown watched his playoff campaign come to a close at the hands of the Niners.
That's because Brown, 29 years old, had spent his entire NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, whom San Francisco eliminated in the postseason two years in a row (thank goodness).
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Brown, 5-foot-11 and 196 pounds, has traditionally been a nickel corner. But with Samuel Womack going on IR, the depth behind Isaiah Oliver is questionable at best. And if Oliver struggles, plugging an established veteran like Brown into the equation would be a solid option.
Especially considering he's been a solid starter for much of his career.
