Former 49ers who are free agents: CB Ahkello Witherspoon

Ahkello Witherspoon was a mixed bag with the 49ers. He had some good moments, but ultimately he was benched in favor of Emmanuel Moseley during the 2019 season.

He had a very respectable 2023 with the Rams in which he played in every game and had three interceptions. It was a bounceback year for him.

The 49ers will not be interested in him, but a team in need of a bargain cornerback may have a steal on their hands if Witherspoon's 2023 proves more than an aberration.

Former 49ers who are free agents: OL Laken Tomlinson

Yet another member of the 2019 team, Laken Tomlinson did a pretty solid job as an offensive guard for the 49ers. He was very reliable which is the main thing you can ask for from an offensive lineman.

After his time with the Niners, he went on to the New York Jets where he started every single game in his two seasons there. Now he is a free agent.

It seems like the 49ers will try to improve their offensive line in the draft, so he is not really a fit especially with the team re-signing several veterans. But he could definitely still benefit another team out there.
