There are still plenty of former 49ers available in NFL free agency.

Former 49ers who are free agents: LB Kwon Alexander

The 49ers had Kwon Alexander for two seasons where he played solidly for the team while also dealing with injury. He was on the 2019 team that made it to the Super Bowl, but in his absence, Dre Greenlaw emerged as a viable option at linebacker.

Alexander seemed like a potential fit for the Niners before they signed Devondre Campbell who figures to fill in while Greenlaw recovers from injury.

Alexander will most likely find a team to play for at some point, though. He is not yet 30 years old, and he still has some gas left in the tank even if he has dealt with injury.

He should be off the board soon.

Former 49ers who are free agents: CB K'Waun Williams

Another member of the 2019 team, K'Waun Williams established himself as a solid nickel cornerback with San Francisco.

He went on to the Denver Broncos where he has done well, but an injury kept him out last season. He seemed like a potential fit even though he is almost 33 years old, but the 49ers have already made some signings at cornerback which makes a reunion unlikely.

The next free agent was also a cornerback for the team but is not remembered the same way that Williams is.
