The 49ers have gotten their noses in front, but can wide receiver return to the game after going ot the locker room despite being cleared to compete?
The San Francisco 49ers are in a tough battle in the wet at Levi's Stadium against the Green Bay Packers, clawing their way to a 7-6 lead in the second quarter courtesy of a nice floated pass from quarterback Brock Purdy to tight end George Kittle.

Unfortunately, the Niners will potentially be down one of its best weapons for the rest of the game, as wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been ruled questionable to return, due to a shoulder injury.
The weird thing is that San Francisco initially cleared him to return to action, and Deebo initially looked fine walking into the dreaded blue tent. The 49ers even announced he was cleared to return on social media, briefly raising the hopes of the Faithful.
This will obviously be a big blow to the 49ers for the rest of the game if he doesn't return. Deebo provides an edge to the offense that simply cannot be replicated, and his possible absence robs Purdy of one of his best weapons to lean on in conditions that are less than ideal for quarterbacks.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan will have his work cut out for him as he looks to adjust his game plan, as the Packers have come to play hard off the back of their demolition of the Dallas Cowboys last weekend.
One thing is for sure, the Niners certainly haven't had it all their own way in this first half as they look to return to the NFC Championship game.
Update: Deebo Samuel came out of the locker room at halftime out of a uniform, suggesting his night is done.
