Congratulations are in order to Brock Purdy, his new fiancé

Brock Purdy is officially going off the market, as he is now engaged to his girlfriend, Jenna Brandt.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has been the talk of Northern California ever since he took over for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo, finished the regular season with a 5-0 record and helped get the Niners all the way into the NFC Championship game.

Then, even during the offseason and after suffering a torn UCL in that game, Purdy continued to draw attention with how San Francisco would view him moving forward despite having two No. 3 overall draft picks vying for the starting job, Trey Lance and Sam Darnold.

Purdy, the very last pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, is now poised to beat out both on the 49ers quarterbacking depth chart once he returns fully healthy from offseason elbow surgery.

Oh, and he's now off the market, too.

However he planned it, Purdy had something up his sleeve when he took his girlfriend, Jenna Brandt, down to the water for his special proposal.

He popped the question. And, judging by the reaction to his Instagram post, she accepted his proposal.

Oh, and Hall of Famer Jerry Rice was among the first to congratulate the couple.

"My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ," Purdy said in his Instagram post. "Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!"

Of course, the Niners had to get in on the celebrating, too, right?

Sure, football is awfully important, and every San Francisco fan will be paying attention to Purdy's recovery and how he performs on the field.

But it's exciting to take a break from all of that for a second and enjoy Brock and Jenna's special moment, wishing them the best of luck moving forward.
