The 49ers host the Saints for Week 2 of the preseason, and here's how you can tune in live on your television.

Week 2 of the 2024 preseason will look a little bit more like a regular-season game for the San Francisco 49ers, who host the New Orleans Saints at Levi's Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 18.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters he plans on starting more of his starters, including quarterback Brock Purdy. And while the first-team units probably won't see more than a drive or two, the outing will hopefully be a modest sign of what Niners fans can expect this upcoming season.

This stands in contrast to Shanahan's preseason Week 1 approach in which he rested nearly all of his starters against the Tennessee Titans.

Also, last week's game wasn't nationally televised, available only in local market.

That's not the case for Sunday night for both San Francisco and New Orleans when they square off.
