Cardinals vs. 49ers best anytime touchdown scorer picks

The 49ers have plenty of weapons to use in the red zone, but against Arizona, they might get their full back involved.

Nobody expected it to happen this early and definitely not against the Dallas Cowboys, but the Arizona Cardinals are in the win column. Joshua Dobbs led them to a win over Dallas, 28-16, but now they have to face the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers weren’t particularly sharp on offense against the Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 3 and it didn’t particularly matter. The 49ers took a 30-12 win and just keep dominating their opponents. That’s exactly why I’ll be back the San Francisco skill players with anytime touchdown bets in Week 4 against Arizona.

Cardinals vs. 49ers anytime TD picks

  • Deebo Samuel +120
  • Brock Purdy +400
  • Kyle Juzczyk +1600

Deebo Samuel

Brandon Aiyuk had a great Week 1, but when he was out in Week 3, Deebo reestablished himself as the alpha wide receiver on this team. Deebo has seen a team-high 28 targets and leads the Niners with 17 catches. He has one touchdown through the air and one on the ground.

Samuel is also first in red zone targets on San Francisco with four and is second in red zone carries with two. That’s more than Elijah Mitchell who is the backup running back to Christian McCaffrey.

Brock Purdy

The 49ers have plenty of skill players to utilize in the red zone, but Brock Purdy has already found his way in for a score. In Week 2 Purdy had three rushes and finished with five yards and a touchdown. He actually has 10 rushing attempts this season and three of those have come in the red zone which is ninth among quarterbacks.

Kyle Juszczyk

The 49ers are playing against the Cardinals, so this isn’t exactly the toughest test on their schedule. In fact, it’s the perfect opportunity to take care of one of your most physical offensive players that doesn’t always get rewarded. Juszczyk only has one carry and no receptions so far, but I expect him to get involved in what should be a blowout. Last season he scored once through the air and once on the ground and both came in double-digit victories.
