Brock Purdy gave his mom a shoutout after epic touchdown pass to George Kittle
The San Francisco 49ers blew out the New England Patriots in Week 4 to move back to .500 and hopefully put their season back on track. One of the highlights of the game was when Brock Purdy sent the ball in George Kittle's direction near the end zone.
Kittle was able to rip the ball away despite being surrounded by a ton of defenders and score the touchdown for the Niners, putting them up 20-0 in the second quarter. Most people would see this play and think, "Okay yeah, Purdy to Kittle, we know it's a match made in heaven. Why is this particular touchdown getting brought up?"
Well, right after Purdy threw the ball and took the hit from the defender, he was caught saying "George!" as the ball sailed toward his tight end. It gets better after Kittle scores the touchdown, as a camera was floating in Purdy's face. The Niners quarterback made the most of his screen time and decided to give his mom a shoutout by yelling "Hi Mom!" into the camera.

The 49ers went on to win the game in blowout fashion and the Patriots were never really in the game to begin with. That being said, it was a game that the 49ers needed after dropping to 1-2 on the year and the guys came through and got back in the win column and back to .500.
The Niners players being goofy while on the field is nothing new. Heck, if you watched Receiver, you'll see all of Kittle's goofy antics that he does whenever he's playing so it's nice to see that's rubbed off on his quarterback, even if his goofy antic is just saying hi to his mom.
