49ers training camp: Each position's top battle to watch in 2023

Top 49ers offensive line battle: Swing tackle
Players in the mix: Matt Pryor, Jaylon Moore, Joey Fisher, Jon Feliciano
A year ago, it was easy to look at the 49ers offensive line as a potential weakness, particularly with three new players starting for the first time; Aaron Banks, Jake Brendel and Spencer Burford.
Those three anchor the interior again in 2023 after holding up well last season, while All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams is the best in the business. The only change is at right tackle where all signs point to Colton McKivitz replacing now-Denver Broncos lineman Mike McGlinchey.
McKivitz might face some slight competition from Matt Pryor, a veteran whom the Niners brought in this offseas via free agency. But, for the most part, San Francisco's starting O-line looks set.
What'll be interesting is watching who wins the primary swing tackle role.
Pryor is a favorite, but so is the versatile Jon Feliciano, who'll potentially assume the uber-backup role now-Tennessee Titans lineman Daniel Brunskill had the last four seasons.
Meanwhile, dark-horse candidates like Jaylon Moore and Joey Fisher could suddenly assume the job if they excel.
